~100th Anniversary of the Battle of Belleau Wood ~

Marines and fellow Devil Dogs,

2018 is the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Belleau Wood and the birth of our name “Devil Dogs”. This year’s Marine Corps League, Department of Florida’s Convention falls during some of the days of that famous battle, 1-26 June 1918. In celebration of the occasion the Florida Pack, MODD has created Anniversary Patches, T-Shirts and Challenge Coins. Each coin will be numbered. All items will go on sale starting on Thursday, 07 June at the Convention. The first four (4) coins, 001-004, will be auctioned at a silent auction and won by the highest bidder. The winners will be announced at the Grand Growl on 08 June. Details will be posted at the Convention. All MCL members can purchase the numbered coins, but those present at the Convention will have first choice. All Devil Dogs should make an effort to attend our Friday night Growl to celebrate the cutting of the cake.
